SECOND ANNUAL TURTLE SPLASH AND FAMILY BASH 2006
Our 2nd Annual Turtle Splash & Family Bash event was a BIG success! We had over 500 participants at Gleason
Park on Sunday, May 7th, 2006 ... all came out to enjoy a day of wonderful performances, fun games, great food and the music of terrific
local bands! We had over 80 generous volunteers assist us with this event, and
without their tireless time and and energy our event would not have been the success that it was! |
We gave away 15 valuable prize
packages during the Turtle Splash portion of our event! We had a total of 1535 turtles adopted by members of our community, and
thanks to the generosity of numerous businesses and individuals our prize packages were quite impressive! Check out the Prizes! |
We had quite a crowd poolside, cheering "Snickers" on! She was quite a trooper, jumping into the pool a total of 15 times!! The kids and adults had a fun time participating, and everyone seemed to enjoy the unique selection process we used this year with "Snickers"! It was THE highlight of the day! Captain Music did a fabulous children's performance for us, this year he did his educational program! Our very own Morgan had a blast, especially since all of the songs that were performed were some of his own personal favorites! |
