NATIONAL MAKE-A-DIFFERENCE DAY - OCTOBER 25,2008

We are planning a nationwide lemonade stand to benefit
The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project and raise awareness for the need to
provide assistance to chronically ill children with disabilities. 
Our goal is to have over 100 separate locations take place on
Make A Difference Day, and we would like to
see all age groups take part.

Perfect for a group activity such as girl scouts, boy scouts, church youth group, National Honor Society, elementary school class, Senior Project, etc.

We provide the promotional materials, and all you have to do is provide the
lemonade and anything else you want to sell and promote your sale locally. 
We can even help you design flyers and handouts!

The project is a nationwide lemonade stand to raise awareness
and funds for our organization, in the spirit of the old adage
“If life gives you lemons, make lemonade”, which really applies
to the families (like my own) raising children with special needs. 
You can make your stand as simple or elaborate as you want to –
add baked goods, make it a yard sale, hold a carnival,
sell other things, hold a 50/50 raffle, etc. –
as long as the focal point is the lemonade stand,
and it takes place on 10/25/08.

All lemonade stands need to be registered prior to the event,
so we can have a listing of where they are taking place. 
Each year in April, hundreds of good deeds done on
Make A Difference Day are selected for honors, headlines
and charitable donations by the Make A Difference Day Foundation.

$10,000 to 10 projects
Newman's Own provide $10,000 donations to the
charities of each of 10 national honorees! 
These 10 honorees will be spotlighted in an April 2009 issue,
coinciding with National Volunteer week, and here on this Web site.
